LVL UP Program
Our mission is to help youth develop critical creative and life skills through exposure to the arts. Inspire them to maintain a positive academic focus through partnerships with schools in resource-starved communities. We seek to train youth to use the arts as an entrepreneurial tool to generate income, creativity, and healing.
Project Description
Our LVL UP Program is expanding with exciting initiatives to engage the community and foster creativity. To raise awareness, we will activate 16 community pop-ups and dance events. We offer training in video production, photography, graphic design, event production, and social media management to support our youth, engaging 15 youth apprentices. Additionally, we will expand our dance classes to reach over 350 more students next year.
Our initiatives also focus on critical issues like COVID-19, mental health, and wellness in communities of color and those who are deaf or learning English. We aim to grow our podcast audience to 10,000 listeners nationwide within 12 months. Our program will maintain monthly online entrepreneurship classes for kids and assist 6 to 10 small businesses in lower-income and rural communities through youth-led creative services.
