Water Conservation Media Program
NorCal implements arts-integrated programs using theater as a tool, weaving relevant issues such as violence prevention (conflict resolution), financial literacy and as proposed in this grant, water conservation into theater curriculum.
Project Description
NorCal and the Regional Water Authority will collaborate on an interactive campaign to engage children, families, and communities in water conservation through devised performances, art workshops, community visits, and a regional media outreach effort to raise awareness and empower action toward sustainable water practices. This initiative integrates theater art into water conservation education, emphasizing community involvement and the collective responsibility needed to address water scarcity and environmental stewardship.
