The Vallejo Center for the Arts facilitates and advocates community participation in the arts, including promoting the rich history of the arts in Vallejo, the development of educational programs, support for Vallejo arts organizations, and celebrating our cultural diversity through the arts.
Project Description
We will use social media, local media outlets, and community engagement events to strengthen the campaign. We’ll create a hashtag for platforms like Instagram and Twitter to share images and messages related to environmental justice and partner with local newspapers and television stations to feature artwork. Public events will display artwork and provide opportunities for community interaction.
The campaign will use visual art and spoken word to raise awareness of environmental justice and promote sustainability in underserved communities. Art can powerfully depict ecological challenges and inspire action. Partnering with local organizations and media outlets, we will ensure our message reaches target audiences and has a lasting impact.
