Project Description
Stories of Land and Water/Cuentos de Tierra y Agua, invites community participation in guided storywalks to learn Wintun perspectives on ecology and envision a future for the Yolo bioregion, emphasizing environmental justice through Wintun restoration ecology. Through audio tours and interactive exercises, participants engage with Diana Almendariz's leadership in Patwin language, culture, and ecological knowledge, fostering community dialogue and planning for a resilient and equitable future.
